The Research Infrastructure Network for Open Science (KINYIT) was established by the cooperation of five prominent research infrastructures (RIs) at the initiative of the NKFIH to support open scholarship and strengthen research synergies:

  • DigiPhil RI: plays a decisive role in supporting digital humanities research, with particular attention to the digital processing of Hungarian-language scientific texts.
  • Magyar Tudományos Művek Tára RI (MTMT): a registry system for scientific publications, which is a fundamental source in the measurement and analysis of research performance.
  • HUN-REN Data Repository Platform RI: an interdisciplinary data repository that ensures open access to research data, contributing to the development of data-based science.
  • QULTO RI: a leading player in the construction of innovative cultural and scientific data infrastructures, providing national services in the field of digitization.
  • DH-LAB KI: a digital heritage research laboratory led by ELTE, which is a pioneer in 21st century scientific infrastructures with its artificial intelligence development capacity and unique data management training.

KINYIT aims to strengthen cooperation between scientific infrastructures and promote innovation through further developments and joint applications. The network is open to integrating additional actors, facilitating interdisciplinary collaborations and open scientific exchange.
