In just nine days, between 19–21 November 2025, the DH_Budapest_2025 – Young Researchers Conference will take place, organized jointly by the Department of Digital Humanities (DH LAB) at Eötvös Loránd University and the National Széchényi Library.

The event provides a forum for students and early-career researchers working at the intersection of digital humanities and artificial intelligence to present their ideas, projects and ongoing research. The full programme is available here.

Hosted at the ELTE Faculty of Humanities and the National Széchényi Library, the three-day conference will feature keynote lectures, paper sessions, and roundtable discussions. The language of the conference is English.

The central theme of DH_Budapest_2025 focuses on how artificial intelligence reshapes the humanities, and what new opportunities it offers for research, education, and the digital processing of cultural heritage.

The conference will open with two keynote lectures, addressing the relationship between AI and human creativity, as well as the interpretive role of AI in the humanities.

Registration is available here.
